Privacy Policy

Silicon Team is a workspace for agency teams: projects, tasks, clients, documents, search-ranking tracking, and AI agents that carry out work you assign them. The service is operated by Silicon Team and is available at silicon.team, with the application itself at app.silicon.team.

Account information. When you create an account we store your name, email address, profile picture URL, and your role within your organization. If you sign in with Google, this information comes from your Google account — see section 3.

Content you create. Anything you put into the workspace: organizations, teams, projects, tasks and their comments and attachments, client records, briefs, invoices, documents, scheduled social posts, tracked domains and keywords, and your conversations with the assistant.

Activity records. We log actions taken in the workspace — who created or changed what, and when — so your team has an audit trail. Runs performed by AI agents are logged the same way.

Technical information. Our hosting and security layers process IP addresses and standard request metadata to serve pages, apply rate limits, and prevent abuse.

Usage analytics. We use Google Analytics on our public pages to understand how people find and move through the site — pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP, device and browser type, and referring site. This is aggregate audience measurement, not profiling of individuals, and we do not link it to your workspace content.

We do not collect payment card details, we do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell personal information.

If you choose to sign in with Google, we request only the basic sign-in scopes: your email address, basic profile (name and profile picture), and an OpenID identifier. We do not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar, Contacts, or any other Google service.

We use that Google data for one purpose only:

• To create and authenticate your Silicon Team account.
• To show your name and picture to other members of your organization so they can tell who did what.

Limited Use.Silicon Team's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide the service, do not use it for advertising, and do not allow humans to read it except with your explicit consent, for security purposes, or where required by law.

You can disconnect Silicon Team from your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Doing so stops future sign-ins but does not by itself delete your workspace data — see section 7.

We use the information described above to:

• Provide the service, and keep you signed in.
• Show your organization's data only to members of that organization.
• Carry out the work you ask an AI agent or the assistant to perform, which may involve sending the relevant parts of your workspace content to the AI providers named in section 5.
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, and diagnose faults.
• Contact you about the service when necessary.

We share data with a small number of processors purely to run the service. Each acts on our instructions.

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage. Stores essentially all of your account and workspace data.
• Vercel — application hosting and content delivery. Processes request metadata such as IP addresses.
• OpenRouter, and the model providers it routes to — AI processing. Receives the portions of your workspace content needed to answer a request or complete an agent task.
• DuckDuckGo — web search, when you or an agent explicitly searches the web. Receives the search query only.
• Google Analytics — audience measurement on our public pages. Receives page views and the technical details described in section 2; it has no access to your workspace data.

We may also disclose information where legally required, or to protect the rights and safety of our users. We do not sell personal information or share it with advertisers.

Data is stored by the providers above and may be processed outside your country. Every workspace table enforces row-level security scoped to your organization, so members of one organization cannot read another's data. Traffic is encrypted in transit. Access to production systems is restricted to those who need it to operate the service.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal data, we will notify you and any applicable regulator as required by law.

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual records at any time from within the application.

To delete your account and its associated personal data, email us at support@silicon.team. We will action the request within 30 days. Note that content you contributed to a shared organization — for example a task comment — may remain visible to that organization; tell us if you need that removed as well. Backups are purged on their normal rotation.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to complain to your data protection authority. To exercise any of these, email support@silicon.team. We do not charge for reasonable requests.

We set cookies that are strictly necessary to run the service — principally your authentication session and your light or dark theme preference.

Google Analytics also sets cookies on our public pages to measure how the site is used. You can opt out across all sites with Google's browser add-on, or by blocking analytics cookies in your browser. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Silicon Team is a business tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

If we make a material change we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change significantly affects you, notify you in the application or by email.
